Terms & Conditions

By paying to reserve an item you are agreeing to the following terms. Please read and consider this before renting.

 

Bookings

  •  bookings are confirmed once the full payment is made including bond
  • payment is required prior the picking up or shipping garments


Cleaning

  • Please do not attempt to wash or iron any garments yourself.
  • Professional dry cleaning costs will be included in the rental prices and done through mode rentals so please return the dress after you have worn it


Refunds

  • Store credits are available for any reason, including change of mind, up to 14 days before your event. If your cancellation falls within 14 days of the event, the hire fee is non-refundable. All store credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.


Identification

  • A photo of valid identification which clearly states your full name and current address must be given prior to pick up or posting, just for safety reasons

 

Damaged Goods

  • if an item gets damaged notify us immediately.
  • if an item gets damaged whilst in the renters possession, the repair cost will be sent and will need to be covered by the renter.
  • if the garmet is damaged beyond repair then the RRP will need to be paid
  • If theres is any damage when you receive the garment,notify us and send though photos of any damage you believe has occurred before the item was in your possession. If there is no photo evidence send before your event then you may be responsible.   

 

After Wear

  • It is expected the garmet is shipped back with the prepared satchel the following next business day after your event by 4.
  • The dress must be returned over the counter at the post office and a photo of the tracking number be sent to us.

 

Payment

  • We accept payment via bank transfer or Cash (pickup)
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your hire.

 

Try Ons

  •  try ons are available in Ocean Grove
  • please don't come to try ons with wet fake tan as it will stain our garments
  • Try ons go for 20 minutes
  • if items get dirty while being tried on a fee may apply
  • we would appreciate if you took off any bracelets or rings while trying on our pieces so they don't damage any materials
  • unfortunately we do not do postage try ons!

Store Credits

  • Store credits may be issued in accordance with our cancellation policy
  • Store credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
  • Store credits are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Store credits may only be used for future hires and cannot be applied retrospectively to past bookings.


Sizing

  • We do not guarantee that any garment will be a perfect fit die to alterations and vintage designs
  • Customers are responsible for selecting their size and style prior to booking.
  • No refunds or store credits will be issued if a garment does not fit as expected.
  • If you are unsure about sizing, we encourage you to book a try-on appointment (where available) prior to confirming your hire.

Bonds

  •  A bond is required for all garments; the cost of the bond varies depending on the garment.
  •  The bond is returned within 2-3 business days, following an inspection of the dress to ensure it is in original condition.
  • The bond will not be returned if any alterations/adjustments have been made to the dress
  • In the case where further dry cleaning or repairs/alterations are required, the bond will be temporarily held and the cost of this will be deducted from the bond.
